A concise reply to the Kamil International Ministries and the “pagan-moon-god myth”. Califo11

Verily all praise belongs to ALLAH we praise Him and we seek His protection and we ask His forgiveness. Verily whomsoever ALLAH guides then there is no one to misguide them and whosoever is misguided then there is no one to guide them. I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship except ALLAH and that Muhammad is His slave and final Messenger.

To every sincere reader or seeker of truth I advise you to research Islam from its authentic sources; and to be cautiousof those whom feel the need to fabricate about Islam in order to promote their own religious or personal beliefs. And whenwe find that the person’s interpretation of Islam is in gross error and contradiction to what is clearly found in the Qur'an, and the authentic practice of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam), peace is upon him, and that which is commonly known to the general Muslim population; then we can conclude that either this person is not an authority on the subject in which he or she is speaking and therefore should take the role of the student rather than the teacher; or as we find in many cases the person is deliberately lying.

So why would a person feel the need to lie about Islam in order to deter people from the path of Islam? For indeed if one felt that he had the truth with him then he could simply say to the seeker of truth, “Go to the mosque and ask the Muslims what they believe, then return tome and I will tell you why I believe they are wrong”.

Kamil Solomon, founder of the KIMO ministries clearly fits into the latter category of those who intentionally lie upon Islam in order to deter people from the truth. I will present the readerwith one clear example of his deception. Mr. Solomon said in his work, Pagan sources of Islam;“Consequently, Islam is basically a mixture of the ancient Arab religion of the moon god Allah, other pre-Islamic Arab pagan rites, with some Jewish and Christian beliefs, heresies, and terminology thrown in.”

Here Mr. Solomon would like for the reader to believe that the name Allah refers to a “moon god”, but what he didn’t tell thereader is that Allah is the name that Arab Christians and Muslims use to refer to the God of Abraham. Surely Mr. Solomon as an Arab Christian has read the Bible in Arabic; is it possible that he missed the very first verse in the Old Testament? Or is it that he assumes the reader cannot read the Arabic language and thus will not notice that the Old Testament and New Testament refer to God as Allah! Take alook for yourself.

The first verse in the book of Genesis reads…

في البدء خلق الله السموات والارض

The above verse translated into English reads, “In the beginning Allah created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis verse 1)

The third verse in the book of Genesis reads…

وقال الله لیكن نور فكان نور

The above verse translated into English reads, “And Allah saidlet there be light, so there was light”. (Genesis verse 3)

Now let’s read from the Qur'an, chapter 112 verses 1and 2…

قُلْ ھُوَ الله أَحَدٌ الله الصَّمَدُ

The above verses translated into English reads, “Say, He is Allah the One, Allah is The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need…”

Examine the underlined words; this word is Allah in Arabic, found in the Christian Bible and in the Qur'an, even the non Arabic speaker can see that these words are the same.

In the New Testament we read…
فقال لھ یسوع لماذا تدعوني صالحا لیس احد صالحا الا واحد وھو الله

And Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one isgood except Allah alone. (Mark 10:18)

In the Arabic Bible the name یسوع is used for Jesus, while in the Qur'an the name عیسى (Essa) is used for Jesus; but both the Bible and the Qur'an use the name الله (Allah) to refer to God.

Here is the link where you can find the main page to the Christian Bible in Arabic http://www.arabicbible.com/index.html this will show the reader that this is a site sponsored by the Christians and not the Muslims.

And here is the link where you can see the book of Genesis in the Arabic language http://www.arabicbible.com/bible/ot/gen/1.htm

And here you will find the book of Mark in Arabic http://www.arabicbible.com/bible/nt/mar/10.htm

(Here is the link to the Qur'an verses… http://muttaqun.com/quran/)

Take these verses to any Arabic speaker, Christian, Muslim or otherwise and they will have to tell you that the name Allah appears in both the Bible and the Qur'an, and it is the name used to refer to God by all Arabic speakers.

So what does the Koran say about the moon? Allah says inchapter 41 verse 37, “And from among His Signs are the nightand the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them both, if you (really) worship Him.”

In chapter 10 verse 3 of the Qur'an we see that the name Allah refers to the creator of the heavens and the earth; Allah says,“Surely, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then rose over the Throne, disposing the affair of all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His Leave. That is Allah, your Lord; so worship Him(Alone). Then, will you not remember?

And Allah says, “Such is Allah, your Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but Him, the Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and He is the Trustee, Disposer of affairs, and Guardian over all things.”[Chapter 6:102]

And Allah says, “And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to thema word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them interms of honor.” [Chapter 17:23]

Muslims worship Allah, the Creator of the Universe, the One True God whom all the Prophets worshipped. Allah says, “Orwere you witnesses when death approached Jacob? When he said unto his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, ‘We shall worship your God, the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael and Isaac, One God, and to Him we submit.[Chapter 2:133]

The Muslims worship Allah alone and call others, who follow different religions to worship Allah Alone, as Allah says, Say[O Muhammad]: ‘O People of the Scripture [Jews and Christians]: come to a word that is just, between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah.’ Then, if they turn away, say, ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.’ [Chapter 3:64]

It is Allah alone Whom Noah (peace is upon him) called his people to worship, as Allah says,” Indeed, We sent Noah to his people and he said: ‘O my people! Worship Allah! None has the right to be worshipped but Him. Certainly, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day!’ (The Day of Judgment) [Chapter 7:59]

It is Allah alone whom the Messiah Jesus (peace is upon him) called people to worship, as Allah says, “Surely they have disbelieved who say: ‘Allah is the Messiah [Jesus] son of Mary. ’But the Messiah said: ‘O Children of Israel! ‘Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord,’ verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the fire will be his abode. And for the polytheists and wrong-doers there are no helpers.” [Chapter 5:73]

Does calling for all mankind to worship their Creator alone sound like pagan worship?

So why does Kamil Solomon seek to deceive the reader? We will have to ask him that question; but surely he has lost all credibility as an authority on comparative religion by not being forthright and honest. “Thou shall not lie or give false testimony”

As for our ethical, respectable Christian neighbors, then we can discuss the real points of disagreement between the Christians and Muslims in a dignified, truthful manner.
